So this is the team from Guatemala reporting! We have arrived safely in Guatemala and are ecstatic to be here! We have been here around 24 hours and already God has begun to work in our hearts and our lives. Today we went to four of the homes. You can see the picture of the team to Guatemala at the single mothers home with their children. These women are so precious. They range in age and are young girls that have been abused in some form but have been taken under the care of the family in this home. It was such a neat experience to talk with them and see their heart and how God is working in their lives. We even got to jump on their trampoline! Needless to say, we had a blast at this home. We also traveled to the boys and girls transitional homes where we met the children that live here and played futbol and basketball. We ended the day by playing with the children at the baby home where the children were vibrant with energy and eager to play! Needless to say at the end of this day we were exhausted, but so excited about the opportunity to be here in Guatemala and minister to these precious people.
Tomorrow we will be loading a bus and traveling about 6 hours to Hue Hue where we will be playing with the children at the government orphanage, leading VBS, and painting a wall. Please pray for the safety and health of our team as we travel! As they say in Guatemala-Hasta Luego!
