Mercer U in Guatemala - 1 Week to go!

Today the team finished up the last day of ministry in Huehuetenango with a special treat. We were able to take some of the children from Fundacion Salvacion up to the mountains above Huehue (Los Cuchumatanes - the tallest non-volcanic mountain range in Central America) to pass out clothes to the indiginous people there. We also made a "quick" trip through Todos Santos, a small mountain town that few visitors ever see.

Sunday morning we leave for Panajachel and Lake Atitlan to do some "touristy" stuff for a few days. The team is looking forward to some down time after two weeks of hard work here in Huehuetenango. They have done such an amazing job!

More to follow,
John Adams
