Today begins our second week here in Guatemala with the kids at Fundacion Salvacion in Huehuetenango. Last week was great and I am looking forward to seeing the team jump right back in there this afternoon. They've spent all weekend preparing new activities, trying out new crafts, etc in order to give the kids the best experience possible. They've been working so hard!!
Yesterday we got to attend church at the Central American Mission Church. Obviously there was a language barrier, but the team still enjoyed getting to take in a little piece of everyday life here in Guate. Church was followed with a much-needed afternoon of rest and preparation. They are working so hard! Between class in the mornings, time with the children in the afternoons, then evenings spent reading, writing, and doing class assignments, they have a full schedule. Thanks for your prayers regarding health, endurance, etc.
I will try to get one of the team members to post some thoughts this evening when we get done with everything. Stay tuned!
