Reality

When I was chosen for this mission trip I thought, "Wow, I get to go to Guatemala and help with the children. I get to see, and experience what mission work is all about." Boy was I wrong! What I am getting is the experience of a lifetime. Before I knew what had happened my heart was wrapped up in those little faces. Not pity but love and each day is filled with giving them as much love as possible. I grow as they grow and I can tell you it is awesome. Although I don't speak Spanish or Mayan we communicate beyond what words can express. Love is indeed the universal language. Thank you Mercer and Buckner for allowing me to grow in heart and spirit.
